Koh Samui
Located in the gulf of Thailand about 600 Km's south of Bangkok and a 1.5 Hr's Ferry ride from Don Sak on the coast of Surat Thani is the Tropical paradise island of Koh Samui.
Koh Samui, is the third largest Island in Thailand, measuring 21 kilometers at its widest point and 25 kilometers in length, with a land area of approx. 280 sp.km and has a local population of a mere 34,000. Koh Samui is one of a group of 80 tropical islands Known as Angthong National Marine Park, where a stunning archipelago awaits to greet visitors with their tranquil palm-fringed beaches, crystal clear water and colorful coral reefs. The numerous islands make's it a perfect hideaway for vacationers from around the world. Beyond Koh Samui
Its neighboring Island of Koh Pha-ngan that hosts the legendary full moon beach party and north of Koh Pha-ngan is Koh Tao, renowned for its excellent coral reefs and Dive centers. The best time to enjoy one of these islands to the fullest is from Late December to August.
The local population consisting mainly of Buddhist Thais is very friendly. Until the recent arrival of tourism, coconut farming and fishing were the main sources of income. The latter are still practiced today though to a lesser extent.
The largest and most popular beaches on Samui are Chaweng, Lamai, Bophut and Maenam. For those looking for a quieter place to spend their holiday, Though only 15 minutes from the popular beach's is Big Buddha Beach 'Ban BangRak Beach'. Where only 400m from the beach you'll find Boh Khung Villa's.

Big Buddha Beach
Big Buddha Beach ' Ban Bangrak' are located in the Northeast of Samui with smooth sand, good swimming preferences and safe for children.
With all year round swimming it's the perfect place to find peace and tranquility as there are no beach vendors operating on this stretch. From here visit the world famous Wat Phra Yai Temple, in other words "The Big Buddha" which is certainly the most visited temple of Samui. The statue of the Big Buddha measures 12 meters in height and can be seen from several kilometers away. There are plenty of small shops, Including Bangrak Boutique just as you enter onto the coarse way offering local crafts and souvenirs.
Ban Bangrak is quiet but has everything to offer like restaurants, bars and shopping opportunities.
The nightlife in Chaweng is just a 15min drive away, but why drive away when most restaurant venues have fantastic views over the Big Buddha and Koh Pha-ngan.
From Ban Bangrak daily and regular speed boats services run to the islands and the National Marine Park.
